Shelter Corporation Restricted Breed List

It is the policy of Shelter Corporation to not allow aggressive canine breeds in our apartment communities. The breeds listed below are known to have an aggressive disposition according to the CDC. Any pets of these breeds, full or mix, are considered restricted and will not be allowed to enter into a pet agreement at any Shelter Corporation Community. This also includes pets that are perceived to be from one of the following breeds. No visiting pets are allowed without a pet agreement.

1.  "Pit Bull" also known as American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, or
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
2.  Rottweiler
3.  Siberian Husky
4.  Saint Bernard
5.  German Shepard
6.  Great Dane
7.  Doberman Pinscher
8.  Chow Chow
9.  Alaskan Malamute
10. Akita
11. Bull Mastiff
12. Dalmatian
13. Presa Canario
